Welcome to fifth grade!
Thank you for visiting my web site. As a graduate of Good Shepherd School, I am very happy to be teaching at the school that I once attended! Following my graduation from Good Shepherd and Trinity High School, I attended Penn State University and studied Communications. I graduated in 2005, and worked for almost five years in Advertising and Public Relations. During this time, I realized that it was time to pursue my dream of being a teacher to fulfill my passion of working with children. I returned to school at Temple University, and in 2010 I obtained my certification and Masters degree in Elementary Education.
This is my third year teaching at Good Shepherd, and I have loved every minute of it! It is incredibly rewarding for me, and I wake up excited to work with my students every day. I am eager to guide each class through many interesting activities and fun learning opportunities. This year I am the fifth grade homeroom teacher, and I will be teaching fifth grade Religion, Language Arts, and Social Studies. I will also teach Social Studies to both sixth grade classes. Through our studies and experiences, we will all grow together in our Catholic faith, while meeting our learning goals and fostering friendships with others.
If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call me at any time. I will get back to you as soon as I can. I look forward to a very fun and successful school year!
