A very warm welcome to fourth grade! This is going to be an awesome year for all of us. You will learn so many cool things in fourth grade.
In Religion, we will be studying the Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes.
In Science, we will be exploring the following topics: animals, the human body, electricity and magnetism, weather, rocks and minerals, and simple machines.
In Social Studies, we will travel to all fifty states to learn the geography, regions, and fun facts about each. An in depth study of our home state of Pennsylvania will end our year.
In Language Arts, we will read great novels, and create many different and interesting writing pieces. Grammar, spelling and vocabulary will also be a part of our day.
When you practice multiplying and dividing numbers you will become a math whiz. You will also enjoy learning about fractions, geometry, decimals, time, measurement, Math24 Challenge, and money.
