GOOD SHEPHERD SCHOOL
Mrs. Caporiccio - 2nd Grade
I am looking forward to my 11th year teaching second grade at Good Shepherd School. For those of you who don't know me, I originally come from the Scranton area and also lived for 5 years in upstate New York. My husband and I have 2 grown children.
Second Grade is a most exciting year!
Two of our biggest excitements would definitely be preparing and receiving Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
There is much that we will be learning and doing in Math: two and three digit addition and subtraction, time, money, graphs, etc.
Reading: learning new words, dictionary skills, interesting stories, etc. We also cannot forget that we will be learning more in
Social Studies: map skills, directions, states and continents; and Science: animals, nature, your heart, etc.
We'll keep you posted through schoolnotes.com. Each week, I will update the homework and Spelling words for the week. That page will also include other information and updates pertaining to our classroom and/or the school.
