GOOD SHEPHERD SCHOOL

Sister Mary Ann - 1st Grade

I am Sister Mary Ann, M.S.C., a Missionary of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, and am beginning my eleventh year of teaching First Grade at Good Shepherd School. I am also a Eucharistic Minister and Lector in church and belong to a number of parish organizations and committees. Twice a year I facilitate an eight week Women's Bible Study in Good Shepherd parish.

Our overall theme for this school year is Jesus, Our Light, Through Mary. Many of our religious services and activities will be based around the theme.

The classroom theme for our First Graders in Room 140 is all about the circus. We will do many curriculum-based activities pertaining to this particular topic.
