Greeting from the Computer Teacher’s Corner,
Hi, my name is Mrs. Deb Schultz and I will be your child’s computer teacher. This is my third year teaching at Good Shepherd and I’m very excited for the start of the school year.
In 2007, I received my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction for Elementary Education from Shippensburg University and my certification to teach grades K-6. In 2002, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an option in Children, Youth, and Family Services and a minor in Sociology from Penn State.
Prior to coming to Good Shepherd I worked as a substitute teacher for the Cumberland Valley School District in grades K-12. In addition, I was employed by two NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) child care centers where I taught preschool and toddlers.
When I am not teaching students, I enjoy spending time with my husband Michael and our beautiful nephews George and William and niece Laura. Additionally, I enjoy singing, reading, baking, and watching football (Go PSU and Steelers!!).
This school year we will continue to learn about different ideas and concepts related to technology including: the Microsoft Office Suite, keyboarding skills, Internet safety, computer basics (mouse, keyboard, printer, etc.), blogging, online research, Microsoft Paint, Microsoft Movie Maker, and many other topics.
Please come back and visit this website for updates on what the students are doing in their computer classes. Also, please check out my school notes website for fun and interesting websites.
